Association Announces New Training Program

The association has announced the creation of the first-ever comprehensive training program for bar, restaurant, tavern and club owners focused on their responsibilities as on-premises liquor license holders. The new program, “The ABC’s of the Alcoholic Beverage Control law,” was developed with the assistance of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (State Liquor Authority) and is designed to provide owners of licensed premises with the information and tools they need to comply with the law.

The association will make this training available to owners throughout New York State beginning next month. While ESRTA will conduct “classroom” sessions instructing this program, we expect most of the participants in this program will take the course through our online Virtual University due to its convenience and interesting method of course delivery.
