Free Poker Experience Launches Website

The Free Poker Experience, the Missouri limited liability company that filed an action in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, to force the legalization of free bar & tavern poker has launched a new website www.thefreepokerexperience.com to chronicle the events of thecase. Filed in August, 2008, the lawsuit seeks to prove that the New York Penal Law is unconstitutional under both the state and federal constitutions when applied to free poker.

Common sense tells you if you pay nothing to play, have no risk and can lose nothing then it’s not gambling, but New York and approximately thirty other states do not agree. Playing a game for fun and entertainment and no money can lead to trouble. A look at the past practices of the New York State Liquor Authority demonstrates that any host establishment would be charged with promoting gambling and subject to having its beer, wine or liquor license suspended or revoked.
